A brand refresh for the world’s most popular operating system.

Huge was tasked with evolving the Android brand to make it more modern, globally inclusive, and accessible.

A group of designers were focused on the core brand: logo, color, type, shapes, photography, voice & tone, strategy, and building out a comprehensive guidelines document.

While another group of designers were working mostly on the digital expressions: grid, composition, pattern, motion, navigation, interface elements, and the overall website itself.

The majority of my work occured in this latter group. But we all worked together and collaborated across everything we did. And, just to be completely clear: I did not design the new Android logo. I did design many other things.
